Terms & Conditions for DD Events London Bookings

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 13.

• "DD Events", "we", "us" refers to DD Events, the operator of this website.
• "You", "client", "customer" refers to the person or organisation using our services.
• "Planner" refers to our online design tool used to create and customise event layouts.
• "Booking" refers to a confirmed order for decoration, hire or styling services.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place a booking.
• You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering and booking.
• We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these Terms.

Our planner lets you design your own event layout using templates, props, backdrops and other decor items, with pricing calculated live as you build your design. Saved designs are stored against your account and can be edited before you check out.

• All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
• A booking is only confirmed once payment (or an agreed deposit) has been received.
• We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors before an order is confirmed.
• Delivery charges, where applicable, are calculated based on location and shown at checkout.

Delivery, on-site setup and post-event collection are carried out in line with our Delivery & Setup Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You're responsible for ensuring venue access and any necessary permissions are arranged in advance.

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are handled in line with our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please note that decorations are typically custom-configured for your event, which may affect your statutory cancellation rights — see that policy for full details.

• All templates, artwork, branding and software behind the DD Events planner remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors.
• Any images or text you upload to personalise a design remain your property, but you grant us a licence to use them solely to produce and fulfil your order.
• You may not copy, resell or redistribute our templates or planner technology without written permission.

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to infringe another party's rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account
• Upload content that is offensive, defamatory or infringes copyright
• Interfere with the normal operation of our website or planner

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, DD Events is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, which cannot be excluded under UK law.

You agree to indemnify DD Events against any claims, losses or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or provision of inaccurate event/venue information.

Our website may link to third-party sites (for example, payment providers). We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party website.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. Continuing to use our website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
